Red lips and messy buns
/Quarantine has been tough, but the best thing about it is realizing who your real friends are. Krystal hasn’t been mentioned much on my blog , but she has really been a great friend and this time away from my other friends has really spoken volumes to me. We met at work and became close friends apart from a co-worker friendship. Literally some days going into the office were tough and she was the only reason I came to work, so I can just be myself.
We went out for brunch in New York to celebrate my promotion and to be honest this was just a spontaneous day out and I really appreciated it. And of course I can always count on her to be a great ear to listen to things going on in my life. Sometimes when you’re in a relationship you feel a little distant from your friends and it’s not on purpose, you’re just focusing on your partner. So it was nice to step out and share my time with a friend. It also was great to get dressed up after being stuck in the house and take some pictures. Thank you Krystal for a fun day out. 😊
