Here it is…my name is Cindy. I’m a 30 year old curly-haired, travel-enthused, and artistic Jersey girl. My love for self-expression and photography sparked the creation of my blog, “Dose of Cin”.
I invite you to learn more about my travels, lifestyle tips, beauty routines and special moments. As you get to know me better, I hope you will join me on my journey to self-growth, self-care, and self-love.

Be Unique.
Embrace the skin you’re in and loosen up those curls. My journey to clear skin and long hair is ongoing but trust the process as I review my favorite products.
Be Creative.
Travel & Photography
Pack your bags and take this trip with me; there are so many places to see and explore. You get one life to experience it all, so I hope you are ready for the ride.
Be You.
Thoughts & Advice
Self-growth starts with you. Don’t let anyone influence your thoughts or creativity. Everyone isn’t going to cheer you on, so remember to put YOU first!

In my last post, I mentioned that I recently had my 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Let me just quickly share an update on the healing process. The antibiotics and medication I was taking only lasted for 7 days.
We’re all adults here. Be truthful and think about when was the last time you’ve been to the dentist. Up until about 1 year ago, I haven’t step foot inside a dentist office since I had my braces removed about 15 years ago.
LIBRARY CARD! Okay hold on hold on, I know I’m probably dating myself with this, but when was the last time you’ve been to a library? A literal public library in your local town.
Missed me? It has really been a while since I wrote my last blog post and life has really been “life-ing”. Ups and downs but I’m still here.
If there was one thing that I couldn’t do in 2021, it was be consistent with posting anything on this blog. Overall, 2021 had a mix of good and bad times that really had my mind all over the place. Adam got Covid last January and from there things were just happening.
I have a bunch of January favorites that I’ve been using consistently this month and I just want to share this with you guys so you can get an idea of the headspace I’m in. Starting off the new year, I wanted to focus on self-care. Mentally, 2020 was so draining and I was feeling so much anxiety over things I can’t control, so why not focus my energy in 2021 on things I do have control over like my mind, body, and soul.
Quarantine has been tough, but the best thing about it is realizing who your real friends are. Krystal hasn’t been mentioned much on my blog , but she has really been a great friend and this time away from my other friends has really spoken volumes to me.
A whirlwind of emotions for the holidays and I couldn’t be happier with the way my Christmas weekend turned out. Normally, my Christmas Eve is spent at my sister’s house with just my immediate family. This year I was able to spend it with just me and Adam. ❤️ His work schedule has been extremely chaotic and demanding because of the storms and snow that has been coming down affecting power outages in NY.
I had a lot of firsts this year and what makes them so special is that I had a chance to experience them with my boyfriend (Adam), who means the world to me. We had the opportunity to go to Martha’s Vineyard this summer with Myoshi and some of her friends. To be honest, I had no idea what to expect. Just trying to wrap my mind around how we were physically going to get there was enough to have me googling everything about Martha’s Vineyard lol.
