Having FUN isn't hard, when you've got a...?

LIBRARY CARD! Okay hold on hold on, I know I’m probably dating myself with this, but when was the last time you’ve been to a library? A literal public library in your local town. For me, it’s probably been 10 years since I’ve been to a library on my college campus but nonetheless I don’t remember borrowing a book. Nowadays, you don’t even have to step foot inside a library. You can use apps on your phone or tablet to get access to the same ebooks, audio ebooks, movies, music, etc. from your local library. First of all, I feel like I’ve been living under a rock because I didn’t even think you could do that. I mean I know people purchase Amazon Kindles to read but this sounds even better and it’s FREE.

So there are a couple of different apps, you can download, such as Hoopla and Libby. My local library uses Hoopla so I created an account on there. As of right now, I would still need to go inside the library to obtain a library card in my name by showing my Driver’s License/ID and a recent bill/bank statement showing my address.

In the meantime, I was still able to create an account and I have access to borrowing 3 ebooks. My normal go-to for reading are self-help books, autobiographies, or non-fiction reads. This time I decided to go for something that was a little more of a fantasy/romance novel so I’m reading “Red Queen”.
